Designer Doggies
Okay, this one is for all you
dog lovers out there. If you’ve
run out of remodeling ideas, why not consider an upgrade for your beloved
pooch? We loved this slideshow from the New York Times, which features reader’s photos of
their customized—and often downright luxurious—dog houses.
Our favorite? Number 8. It’s an
eco-doghouse built by Modern Cabana for Hugo, a French Bulldog owned by Eric
McFarland and Brad Krefman of Mill Valley, California. The top is a planter, and the design
echoes their midcentury modern house.
