The Best of Rule-Breaking

Remember when you were a little kid, and summers were full of freedom and adventures?  Somehow, rules didn’t matter quite as much during long, sunny days as they did during the school year.  In an effort to return you to carefree days, we share with you the brilliant and hilarious concept of “Breaking the Rules of Summer” from Outside Magazine.

Highlights include justifying truly indulgent state-fair snacks—“Minnesota State Fair regulations require the oil to be trans-fat-free, so your chance of heart attack is reduced.”  Plus, you get a full how-to guide on building (and removing) a rope swing safely.  And for the adventurous outdoorsy types, step-by-step instructions on cooking freshly-caught trout.   You can check out the rest of the articles here.  This summer, we challenge you to break some rules in the name of fun!
